We are delighted to have our new student council up and running this month with 16 representatives from 3rd – 6th class.

A Student Council is a representative structure for students, through which they can become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and the students.

It will enable the boys to take responsibility for projects such as the organisation and running of operation Christmas Child, and to demonstrate that they can manage and bring such projects to successful conclusion.

The student council will also be publishing a half-term newsletter where the boys will be able to share some highlights from their classroom with the rest of the school.

Our new student council hopes to:

  • To enhance communication between students, management, staff and parents
  • To promote friendship and respect among pupils
  • To represent the views of the students on matters of general concern to them
